Start sewing! Learn about selecting fabric, reading the printed pattern, laying out and cutting fabric, and using a sewing machine to make a simple garment. You will learn to sew garments, starting with an apron or skirt. If you have a pattern, bring it, or you can purchase one before the second class along with the necessary supplies [thread, zipper, pins, etc.] to make it. The Crafts Center has a selection of donated fabric you can choose from, or you can bring your own fabric. Bring your own machine or learn on one of ours.
