HOUSEPLANT CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Instructor: Dimitri Malheiros [NC State student]
Embark on a journey where we will learn how to turn that green thumb greener!
The instructor, Dimitri Malheiros, is a graduate student here at NC State… although he is not a botanist by trade, he is happy and eager to share all that he knows about houseplants, which he has learned over the years. With a focus on houseplants, we will go through all aspects of keeping your houseplants healthy and happy. Keeping houseplants is a great way to de-stress and bring nature into your home. This class will put emphasis on plants like philodendrons, monsteras, peperomias, and begonias; common and rare/uncommon alike. In this class, we will learn basic plant keeping techniques like proper substrate composition, propagation, pest control, and many other aspects of the hobby.
This class is for all levels of houseplant aficionados! Come join us and let’s plant!

• If cancellation occurs 10 or more days prior to the start of a class, a processing charge of 25% of the registration payment or $25 (whichever is less) will be assessed and the remainder refunded.
• If cancellation occurs less than 10 days prior to the start of a class, a refund cannot be issued unless the space can be filled. If the space is able to be filled, a 50% refund of payment will be issued.
If you find you need to cancel out of a class you have registered for, you must drop the class via Reporter», our new online registration system
