Birdhouse Projects

These birdhouse kits come with pre-cut materials, an instructional video, and all the hardware you need to build, customize, and hang/mount your handcrafted birdhouse!  All you will need is a Phillips-head screwdriver, hammer, wood glue, and masking tape! All birdhouses come with a 1.5-inch diameter entry hole and an access door for seasonal cleaning.

Choose between three different birdhouse options and two materials! Option A is a basic yet fun to customize birdhouse, with minimal parts and easy for ages 8+ to put together. Option B is a cozy bird cottage that requires gluing together exterior features such as a door, a window, and a fence! Option C is the contemporary diamond dwelling, offering a dynamically artistic approach on an easy to assemble design.

Poplar is a “soft” hardwood with an interesting grain coloring between green and white, and sometimes purple! It is easy to work with and also easy to paint! Cypress is a softwood that is durable, stable, and rot/water resistant making it optimal for outdoor projects. Cypress will definitely increase the longevity of your birdhouse.

The basic registration is for the poplar wood. If you would like the cypress wood make sure to include the Cypress Upgrade in the Additional Cart Items portion of checkout.

If you are not local and would like to have the kit shipped to you, you must include the Flat Rate Box in the Additional Cart Items portion of checkout.
