The coronavirus pandemic has meant we are all facing some unprecedented changes to our daily lives. The Crafts Center has always been a community hub for our artists and patrons, teachers and students. Now is the time to pull together and collaborate, share ideas and resources, and support each other so we can continue to learn, grow and remain productive and creative.
We have put together a dynamic series of online classes and resources that we hope will inspire and connect you during this time…and beyond. These will include videos and live demos via social media (see listings below). We will continue to develop ways in which we can all stay connected. Use our convenient easy to remember Go Link, go.ncsu.edu/craftrelief to quickly access this page.
All of our Craft Relief videos are available on the Crafts Center YouTube channel.

During these months of quarantine, our director, Carol Fountain Nix, began reaching out to friends and followers on social media, prompting them to send her a special word and a story to go along with it. So far, she’s received almost 100 words. Here is a sampling of #TheWordProject. If you’d like to participate, please visit: www.carolfountainnix.com/the-word-project.
WE CAN MAKE IT!
