So, you’ve conquered the basics and you’re ready for more? Continuing Wheel is the next level of pottery wheel instruction or can serve as a refresher course of basic pottery skills. Projects include refining skills used for pulling handles, turning matching and consistent forms, small plates. A wonderful class for novice potters as well as veteran throwers in need of more tips and tricks on how to master basic skills. Practice time outside of class is strongly suggested to finish class projects.
Class fee includes one 25 lb. bag of clay.
- Schedule: This class has two schedule options
- Section A: Mondays [6 weeks] January 23 – February 27; 6:30 – 9:30pm
- Section B: Tuesdays [6 weeks] February 28 – April 11 [skip Mar. 14]; 6:30 – 9:30pm
- Skill Level: Intermediate
- Prerequisites: Completion of Introduction to the Potter’s Wheel class or equivalent and confident, basic wheel skills; centering, raising cylinders, working with 2 pounds of clay or more on the wheel.
