Modern Lamp Design & Fabrication [Workshop]

Learn the entire process of designing and fabricating a modern lamp using Fusion 360, Adobe Illustrator, and laser cutting techniques. From conceptualization to assembly, you will be provided with the knowledge and practical skills needed to create a stylish and functional lamp that showcases your design prowess. The modern lamp design class is an introduction to digital fabricated techniques. All necessary tools, materials, software, and computer equipment will be provided.

You’ll  begin with an introduction to lamp design principles, including an exploration of different lamp styles, lighting concepts, and aesthetic considerations. Then you will learn how to brainstorm and sketch your design ideas, considering factors such as functionality, ergonomics, and visual appeal.
