Heavy Wall Bezel Set Pendant and Tool Making [Workshop]

Fabricate a sterling silver pendant from sterling sheet and wire and set a faceted oval shaped CZ stone into a heavy walled bezel. Additionally, you’ll learn how to make your own steel setting punches, chasing tools and texturing stamps from old tools, nails and other easy to find materials. Modifying and creating your own tools can seem intimidating but is actually quite easy. You’ll make a setting punch and a couple of metal stamps that you can add to your personal tool collection. Prior torch soldering experience is required prior to taking this class. A $10 materials fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of first class.

NOTE: This class involves working with open flames and hot metal. For your safety, please wear all cotton clothing (no synthetics), long pants or skirts (nothing short), closed-toe shoes, and wear long hair tied up or tied back.
