Beginning Metalsmithing

Design and construct a pendant and earrings by learning basic metalworking techniques. You will learn to saw, file, texture, rivet, and solder using sheet metal and wire in this basic technique class. Knowing these skills and completing these projects is a great first step to feeling comfortable in the Jewelry/Metals studio! Supplies included. View Amy’s work on Instagram: amyveatch.art.

NOTE: This class involves working with open flames and hot metal. For your safety, please wear all cotton clothing (no synthetics), long pants or skirts (nothing short), closed-toe shoes, and wear long hair tied up or tied back.
