Continuing Torch – Fired Enamel
Delve deeper into working with vitreous enamel and a torch. Experiment with stencils (both positive and negative), work with decals, explore using enamel as texture, be introduced to luster powders, and more. You are encouraged to bring ideas and inspiration to enhance creativity. This is not a beginner level class – you must have enameling experience or have taken the Intro to Torch Fired Enamel class. A $20 supply fee is due to instructor at the beginning of first class.
NOTE: This class involves working with open flames and hot metal. For your safety, please wear all cotton clothing (no synthetics), long pants or skirts (nothing short), closed-toe shoes, and wear long hair tied up or tied back.
