This is a 3-day workshop for those new to creating with precious metal clay and a chance for those of you already familiar with the medium to advance your skills. Learn what precious metal clay is and how to handle the medium. You will have the opportunity to design and construct at least one metal clay object or piece of jewelry, to learn how to set stones, and how to finish and fire each piece. You’ll also learn how to achieve a variety of finishes on your .999, fine silver piece. A $70 materials fee* payable to the instructor on the first day of the workshop, includes 10 grams of precious metal clay [*fee may change based on changes in the market price of silver]. Additional precious metal clay will be available for purchase from the instructor.
