Simple Enameled Ring [Workshop]

A close-up view of a collection of five handmade enameled rings with colorful geometric and floral patterns includes shades of teal, yellow, and orange.

This workshop will introduce students to fabricating finger fashion in a simple way. Familiarity with vitreous enameling or basic metalsmithing helpful but not necessary. Participants will experiment with design and form while creating an enameled topper. Students will design a ring shank that complements the topper’s design. All supplies and tools are provided. While ring stock will be available, students have the option to purchase sterling silver ring stock from the instructor during class. Students are also encouraged to bring their own stock if they have some. Students can create up to 2 rings.
