Representing Space: Drawing in 1, 2, and 3 Point Perspective
This focused drawing class is structured to include a blend of fun worksheets for individual explorations, and some guided group activities, whose gleanings will then be applied to longer drawings. In addition to technique demonstrations and applied practice, this class with also touch on the history of pictorial space – i.e. how artists represent proportion, near and far, and physical space before and after the development of perspective. Students will be encouraged to take drawings home to work on between classes. This course is open to students of all skill levels.
