Take your ceramic work to the next level by creating your own custom metal ribs and punches. You will learn the necessary techniques to fabricate tools using sheet metal and tubing. An emphasis will be placed on designing ergonomic pieces that fit easily in your hand and perform their function as intended. There will be opportunity for testing in clay and refining with guidance from the Metals Studio and Ceramics Studio instructors.
