Carol Fountain Nix

Bio

Carol directs the overall mission and vision of The Crafts Center. She received her MA from the NC State College of Design and eventually taught there as the Associate Professor of the Practice. Carol has an extensive background as an entrepreneur and retail product designer, having owned her own business for over 20 years. Carol is a practicing artist, calligrapher and mixed media painter who teaches classes in calligraphy and lettering arts at The Center and internationally.
