The Crafts Center’s at NC State University, one of six programs comprising Arts NC State, functions as an art school specializing in crafts. Our studios support the disciplines of woodworking, pottery, photography, fiber arts, lapidary, glass, jewelry and metalworking, mixed media, and more.
The Crafts Center’s provides hands-on, immersive, life-long learning skills to NC State students, faculty and staff, affiliates, alumni, and the general public. Our mission is to support research, enhance critical thinking, and strengthen personal /professional development and wellbeing.
The Crafts Center’s supports the mission of NC State University and its commitment to diversity and inclusion. We encourage our students to engage and collaborate with instructors, staff, and peers who have different lived experiences.
