C:LAB is NC State's new digital maker-space for designing, prototyping, and extending traditional media practices into commercial production. This dynamic professional development series will focus on personal and professional marketing, entrepreneurship, and digital skills-building.

C:LAB Hours for Spring 2024

  • Mondays: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Tuesdays: 1 – 10 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: 6 – 10 p.m.
  • Fridays: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

C:LAB Studio Features

  • Multidisciplinary Focus: C:LAB offers a service model that supports multidisciplinary fields such as engineering, art, design, electronics, and more.
  • Fabrication Equipment: C:LAB offers a range of fabrication tools including Trotec laser, WAZER water jet cutter, Formlabs 3D printer.
  • Dedicated Workstations and Benches: C:LAB includes dedicated workstations and benches for user convenience.
  • State-of-the-Art Computer Workstations: C:LAB offers computer workstations equipped with design software like CAD (Computer-Aided Design) programs and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Assorted Hand Tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, saws, hammers, and drills for basic woodworking, metalworking, and crafting.
  • Materials and Supplies: C:LAB offers a selection of materials and supplies such as wood, plastics, glass, metals for free or for purchase.
  • Safety Equipment: C:LAB provides personal safety equipment such as safety goggles, gloves, aprons, and first aid kits.
