Bio

Matt Ramey is a photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Available for commissions worldwide.

He has contributed to The Washington Post, ProPublica, HuffPost, WUNC/NPR, The Assembly NC, The Chronicle of High Education, Redux, as well as various non-profits, commercial clients and political campaigns.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Matt documents the people, places and culture of the South. He makes fine art prints from black & white film negatives.

He also volunteers with a horse farm that provides equine therapy and tutoring for teens in high risk situations.
