Tab and Prong Setting [Workshop]
These simple prong and tab settings are easy to build and customize which makes them perfect for capturing freeform cabochons and irregularly shaped found objects. In this workshop students learn to construct several types of settings to hold stones and other objects. Please bring a selection of 3-5 objects to choose from, (shells, cabochons, coins, river rocks, sea glass, buttons, etc. are all perfect for this project). Actual number of settings finished in the class will depend on each student’s skill and speed. Prior jewelry soldering experience is recommended.
