Calligraphic Lettering

Elevate your journal writing, create personalized gifts, or integrate lettering into your artwork!  In this course you will learn three hand lettering styles using traditional calligraphy nibs and dipped ink.  Weaver style writing is a contemporary, print-like script; Neuland is a bold, angular broad-edged form, and pointed pen Uncial is a modern rendition of the historic 6th century hand.  This class concludes with instruction on composition, layout, and simple decorative motifs. Beginners embraced; no previous skills necessary. All supplies included
