Colored Pencil on Metal [Workshop]

In this workshop you will create colorful metal canvases using a non-traditional method. You’ll create a ‘canvas’ using disc cutters, hammers, and a torch. Then learn layering and blending techniques using colored pencils on motifs you’ve drawn or copied to the canvas. You will also have the opportunity to design and finish a piece of art to wear or display.
Some supplies will be provided. A materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor at first class for a kit of tools and supplies including colored pencils, metal prepping materials, blending tools, templates for specialized shapes.
