Embroidered Portraits

No prior experience nedessary. Learn to paint portraits entirely out of thread. Using basic embroidery and stitching techniques, you’ll learn to transfer images from photo or sketch to fabric and learn to transfer colors with stitches versus brush strokes. This is an artistic embroidery workshop, where you are encouraged to explore and experiment. Please bring your own 6-inch embroidery hoop to class and a photograph of a portrait that will fit within the hoop.
