Focused Forms: Bowls
Focus on expanding and refining wheel throwing skills while concentrating on a specific form. This class provides you the opportunity to dive in and explore the possibilities within the bowl form. Demonstrations and discussion will cover a variety of techniques related to shaping, trimming, and surface design with emphasis on the relationship between form and function. You will gain experience working within the traditional parameters the bowl form while being encouraged to channel your own creative voice. This an intermediate level class- basic wheel throwing experience is necessary.

Thursdays [6 weeks] October 3 – November 7: 6:30pm – 9:30pm
- Skill Level: Intermediate
- Prerequisites: Completion of the Wheel I class or an equivalent introductory level wheel class. You must have basic wheel skills; centering, raising cylinders, forming bowls, and trimming.
Class fees by level: NC State Students – $105 Public – $170
