Greg Carter

Bio

Greg Carter is a lecturer in the NC State School of Design where he has taught 2- and 3-D foundations, drawing, senior seminars in illustration, and senior exhibition, as well as workshops in the design suite of Adobe Creative Suite, personal branding and After Effects animation. He holds BA in psychology and BFA in art (magna can laude) from University of Minnesota, and an MFA from Florida State University.

He has worked in the private sector as art director in web design, UI/UX, marketing, advertising, multimedia and startup incubation. He has received artist fellowships from the State of Florida and FSU. His illustration work has been published internationally and he has been represented by 3inABox of Toronto, ON. He has had one person shows at the Morris Museum Savannah, GA, at Meredith College, and one person shows  at NC Arts Incubator in Siler City, NC and TIZBI Solutions in Raleigh, NC. He is featured in the public art installation “The Corner” on NC State’s Centennial Campus. He has published four narrative books dealing with his artwork and five books of student work from classes at NC State University.
