Stained Glass Wind-Catcher Rings [Workshop]

Wild flowers with honeybees and seaweed with colorful fish are only two of the possibilities for designing this 10” round, stained glass project using the copper foil method. In the style of “relief sculpture” a bit of 3-D can also be incorporated with deliberate open spaces that add an airiness to your piece designed with attached barrel spinners to help catch the wind. Glass and solder are included in the supply fee. This is not a beginner level class. To take this workshop you must be proficient in working with flat glass and solder see the prerequisites below..

  • Prerequisites: Students must have completed the Introduction to Stained Glass at the Crafts Center before taking this workshop.
