How to Register

Using REPORTER to Register

NC State students and employees may access REPORTER via their Unity ID.  Everyone else will need to set up a guest account prior to registering. It’s best to set up your account before the start of the registration period. Some classes fill quickly. Don’t miss the class you want to take, plan ahead!

Decided on the classes and workshops you want to take?

  • Find the class you want to take on under Classes & Workshops on this website and use the “Register for this class»” link for each specific class

Registration process for Registration Opening Day(s)

Registration opens (Reporter links become active) on the dates & times listed below for the respective registration group/category (i.e. the Reporter will not accept registration attempts by the public until December 9.)

To avoid registration “traffic jams” caused by too many people trying to register at the same time and to improve everyone’s experience we are breaking down registration by studio over the course of registration day. That breakdown will go as follows:

SPRING 2025 registration opening dates & times are:

  • for NC State Students only – Monday, December 2
  • for the Public – Monday, December 9
  • Breakdown of registration by studio on opening day:
    9am: Clay, Fiber
    11am: Glass, Jewelry, Lapidary
    1pm: Mixed Media, Photography
    3pm: Wood, C:Lab, Crafternoons, Break 2 Make

Our Recommendations for you:

  • Use the red “Register for this class” button on our website to navigate directly to that class in Reporter.
  • If searching for classes in Reporter, avoid generic search terms (arts, crafts, DASA,
wood, etc.) and instead search for the exact course name.
