Handbuilding 3: Refining Form and Surface
Handbuilding III is designed for intermediate to advanced level students who want to hone their skills, learn a variety of creative handbuilding techniques, and build on their surface design abilities. Projects will encourage students to focus on craftsmanship and explore the relationship between form + surface. Students will be asked to explore their own ideas, take risks, and push their skills. Demonstrations and discussions will focus on elevating craftsmanship through thoughtful examination of one’s work along with attention to detail.
