Hot Glass Beads: An Introduction to Lampworking
Come spend a weekend learning to make glass beads using a torch and rods of glass. Learn to make a variety of beads that can be used to make an item of jewelry or some decorative piece for your home. This class will teach you the basics in glass bead making such as dot placement, how to shape beads, how to encase a bead in transparent glass, and most importantly heat control of your glass. This is a beginner’s class, but even seasoned bead makers can learn from a review of the basics.
