Wheel I: Foundations of Wheel Work
The Wheel I class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of using the potter’s wheel and introduce you to working in our clay studio. You will learn the basics of wheel work including wedging, centering, forming cylinders, forming bowls, adding handles, and trimming. You will also learn glaze application techniques and be able to explore the surface possibilities of our cone 10 reduction glaze palette. Register and experience the joy of crafting your own ceramic pieces to use. Completion of this class meets the qualification for you to purchase a Clay Studio membership. Class fee includes one 25-pound bag of clay plus use of a storage locker for the duration of the class.
