Introduction to the CNC Router
An introduction to the Crafts Center’s ShopBot router, where you will learn to design imagery, create tool paths, and execute basic cuts. You will also understand the basics of setting up the machine for use and the various components involved in using the machine. CAD [computer-aided design] software will be used to develop vectors to complete small projects to reflect different uses of the machine and technology. Class fee includes practice wood and cutting furnished during the class.

Skill Level: Open to all
Prerequisite: Must have a basic understanding of the operation of CAD based Software (Vcarve or AutoCAD) and completion of either the Introduction to Woodworking, Woodworking 1 class.
