Special Projects: Japandi Chair

The first in our new series of special projects courses is here!! This 4-week class will take you through the process of creating a Japandi style chair to relax in after creating all that sawdust. You will be led through the process of creating a chair made entirely of soft maple. During class you will learn the techniques needed to complete each step and have access to the shop to reach each mile marker. Students must have experience in using the jointers, planers, table saw, band saws, & router/router table to complete work on their own time in the studio. Soft Maple will be provided and is included in the class fee.

  • Skill Level: Advanced
  • Prerequisites: Must have completion of the Woodworking 3 class or equivalent .experience
