Woodworking 2: Joinery and Intermediate Techniques
This class will expound upon the foundational skills of woodworking by focusing on several ways to create strong, lasting joints. Learn their structural value and adaptable uses for a variety of applications. You will use the mortising machine, table saw, and various hand tools to create a variety of joints to include: mortise and tenon, mitre joints, dowling, and rabbet joints. Other methods of joinery will be presented as concepts to add to your skillset and practice.

- Prerequisites: Completion of any of the following classes: Woodworking 1, Getting Back into Woodworking, or Introduction to Woodworking
Class fees by level: NC State Students – $90 Public – $145
