Introduction to 4×5 Photography

Nothing rivals the visual fidelity of large format film photography – though it can be a little intimidating to start. From learning how to load film into film holders, to contact printing your first images with 4×5 sheet film, this course is designed to give you the knowledge and experience to feel confident in making large format photography! This class covers general camera mechanics, shot composition, and darkroom procedures. You may bring their own 4×5 camera to class or use the Craft Center’s Omega View / Toyo. Some photography and/or darkroom experience is helpful, but not required.
